Today is such a special day…this week is special too, we honor those who care for others…who have a commitment true. When sickness comes and people no longer can stay at home alone, Crestwood provides a shelter safe, where each is welcome to come. Professional care, in a living way, is given to one and all. Someone is there to dry their tears, and to hear them when they call. They serve their meals to tuck them in …when each day is done, they make great effort to decorate, and set aside time for fun. The spiritual aspect is not forgotten, by singing, bible study, and prayer and when they feel lonely, sad or blue…someone to comfort is there. The love, the hugs, the sympathy given…someone who understands, a smile a laugh, a friendly word…a gentle touch of the hand, these are all given to people each day…and i've heard there's no place quite like "home", and I guess that is true, but Crestwood is a special place, when it's "home" to you! So to those who labor here each day, serving and doing good, I honor the most loving facility of all…the nursing home of Crestwood!
